Jimmy Anderson has replaced his England team-mate Stuart Broad at the top of the International Cricket Council’s Test bowling rankings, for the first time in his career.

England’s all-time leading Test wicket-taker took his tally beyond 450 in the series-sealing victory over Sri Lanka in Durham, where he was also man-of-the-match.
