To the World and Tosen Stardom will be aimed at the $4million Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) on April 11th, while World Ace and Real Impact are tackling the $3million Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) a week earlier.

To The World isĀ 6.00 to win the Queen Elizabeth Stakes, with Tosen StardomĀ 9.00 and Lucia Valentina 9.00.

Racing NSW chairman John Messara could not hide his delight when announcing the news on Friday morning, and is looking forward added interest from the Japanese media.

“These four horses are serious competitors on the world stage,” Messara said. “We are very pleased that the connections of the quartet have made the decision to come to Sydney for The Championships.

“We have no doubt they will be very competitive and should bring with them immense interest from the Japanese media.

“On the back of an extremely successful 2014 The Championships, the confirmation of these four Japanese horses heading their way to Sydney demonstrates what a truly international concept The Championships has become in only its second year.”

Meanwhile, Racing NSW and Australian Turf Club are expected to make further announcements in coming days about more potential international contenders for The Championships during autumn.
