How Australia broke their own record in the women’s 4×100 freestyle relay

The Campbell sisters, Cate and Bronte, Emma McKeon and Brittany Elmslie swam a third of a second faster than Australia’s own world record with almost the same team that set it in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow two years ago. It was only in the last 150 metres that they overcame a tremendous start from the US team, who finished second. Canada was bronze.
