Guidetti expected to come again

Loan striker John Guidetti has been tipped to come good again after losing his goalscoring touch in recent weeks for Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic.

The 21-year-old Swede, on loan from Manchester City, netted 11 times in ten games up to the end of November, but he has since failed to find the net in five further appearances for the Bhoys.

And with Celtic having lost to Dundee United and drawn with Ross County in their last two games, pressure has started to fall on Gudietti to help the Glasgow giants get back on track.

Bhoys head coach Ronny Deila said after the goalless stalemate with Ross County: “He is struggling at the moment, you can see that.

“The only people who can do something about that is us, so we have to work hard in training every day and see what we can do to get it going.

“We know that he can score goals, he has done it before. He hasn’t become a bad player in a month. It is just small details that we are going to have to turn around.

“He will come back. My challenge and his as well, will be to get that back as quickly as possible.”

Guidetti isĀ 3.25 to be leading scorer in the Scottish Premiership this season, with Bhoys team-mate Anthony StokesĀ 6.00 and Aberdeen frontman Adam Rooney 9.00.
