Golf – Rahm plans to end the season on a high

Jon Rahm believes the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates suits his game as he attempts to end his season in style by winning the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. The 23-year-old Spaniard, who only turned pro in June 2016, has been crowned European Tour Rookie of the Year as well as climbing to fifth in the world rankings. Rahm, who won the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open by six shots earlier this year, is 12/1 with bet365 to win the DP World Tour Championship outright while Justin Rose can be backed at 6/1. Rahm said: "It's a golf course I've looked at on TV many, many times. "It really suits me, especially off the tee, because I can free-wheel it a little bit. Hopefully I can end the year the same way I started it."
