Golf – Majors the focus for Tiger

Tiger Woods has set his sights on mounting a challenge for further Major titles in 2018, having made a successful return to action after long-term injury. Woods completed his four rounds at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas with a 68, finishing in a tie for ninth place as Rickie Fowler took the honours thanks to a superb closing 61 at Albany. And afterwards the 14-time Major champion was upbeat about the prospects for the future, as he plans to try and plot a way back to the summit of the game. Woods told reporters: "I don't know what my schedule's going to be, but my expectations are we'll be playing next year. How many, where? I don't know yet, but we'll figure it out. "We're going to figure out what's the best way for me to build my schedule for the Major championships. Woods can be backed at 9/2 with bet365 to win a Major in 2018.
