Golf – Fleetwood confirms PGA move

Tommy Fleetwood has confirmed that he wants to continue improving and challenging for majors which is why he has decided to take up a PGA Tour card in 2018. The 26-year-old Englishman currently leads the Race To Dubai following victories at both the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and the Open de France, while he also finished fourth at the US Open and second behind Dustin Johnson at the WGC-Mexico Championship. Fleetwood now sits 19th in the world rankings and is looking forward to taking his game to another level in the United States, while he is 14/1 with bet365 to win a major in 2018. He said: "As the majority of the Majors and WGCs are over in America, I would like to play more over there and that is my reasoning in taking-up my PGA Tour card and become a world golfer."
