Golf – Day relishing tough conditions

Jason Day is looking forward to being pushed to the limit by the Erin Hills course at this week's US Open. The Australian has clinched five top-ten finishes in his six appearances at the second major of the year, including two runner-up spots in 2011 and 2013, and is relishing the chance to continue his excellent record. "Usually when you hear people complain it's one less guy you have to worry about at the start of the week," he said. "I'd much rather the course was harder than easier." Day is 14/1 with bet365 to win the US Open outright and 4/5 to end the week as the top Australian.
