Formula 1 – Rosberg’s dry race hopes

Nico Rosberg is hopeful of dry weather at this weekend's United States Grand Prix as he looks to banish memories of last year's race at the same track in Austin, Texas. The 31-year-old German is closing in on his first Formula One drivers' title as he leads Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton by 33 points with four races remaining and 100 points left to play for. However, Rosberg is aware that he endured a nightmare on race day 12 months ago as he slid off the track in wet conditions to hand Hamilton a victory on his way to claiming the title. Therefore, looking ahead to this weekend, he said: "Last year this race obviously didn't work out so great for me, so I'm looking forward to getting back out there and doing my best to get it right this time. "Hopefully we won't have the same weather as last year – that was pretty crazy!" Rosberg is 13/10 with bet365 to win the US Grand Prix.
