Fifa ExCo member Sheikh Ahmad vows to fight six-month jail term in Kuwait

• Ahmad handed sentence after being found guilty of insulting judiciary

Fifa executive committee member Sheikh Ahmad Fahad al-Sabah has vowed to fight a six-month jail term imposed in his native Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti royal, who is also a member of the International Olympic Committee and president of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), was given the sentence after being found guilty of insulting the judiciary, local media reported.
