Eusébio, amazing scenes from the Australian Open and futsal fun times

This week's round-up also features when Hollywood goes golfing, cricket catches and Joe Marler tackling very hard

1) Eusébio: a life in video.

2) Thomas Hitzlsperger: the goals.

3) The Australian Open gets going next weekend. Remember this little feller from last year's edition? Well if you think that is something worth dropping the jaw over then you obviously haven't seen Roger Federer's latest antics or what Milos Raonic has been up to. Back to the serious stuff from last year, here's the men's final between Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic (in its entirety); the women's final between Victoria Azarenka vs Li Na (in its entirety); the 71 shot rally between Gilles Simon Gaël Monfils (in its entirety); and, of course, Jerzy Janowicz's meltdown (in its entirety).

4) When you get hit by Joe Marler, you stay hit.

5) When asked about his proudest achievement, Fred Astaire didn't mention the Emmeys, the Golden Globes or the joy he brought to millions of people, it was a four wood he hit "on the 13th hole at Bel Air Country Club in June of 1945. It landed right on the green and rolled into the cup for a hole in one." You can check out his golfing tips here. By the way, Katharine Hepburn could swing a club too.

6) Who amongst us does not like Belgian indoor football from 1997? And who amongst us does not like when a futsal player scores a length-of-the-effin'-pitch overhead kick or a backheel lob/chip? Meanwhile: now you see this Hibs fan and … now you don't.

Our favourites from last week's blog

1) You know the way you have been wondering about who would win between a team of 33 kids (that is later increased to 55 kids) versus a team of Shinji Kagawa and Hiroshi Kiyotake? Well wonder no more.

2) If you have one hour, 33 minutes and 35 seconds to waste on a video that rounds up all of last year's greatest goals, most frightful fights and a whole lot of other crazy crap, then this is the video for you.

3) These people tried their best and failed miserably. The lesson is: keep trying so we can keep giggling.

4) A late entry for 2013's catch of the year by Kane Williamson for the New Zealand Black Caps versus the West Indies.

5) Speaking of catches, how does Jordan Silk's Big Bash screamer rate alongside the all-time greats?

6) "We can't wait to see that instant replay, it was a fine toss ..."
