Epsom Derby: Ulysses gives Niarchos family chance to settle old score

2016 Derby fancy Ulysses, owned by the Niarchos shipping dynasty, is from a bloodline of their colt Nureyev, whose disqualification from 2,000 Guineas victory in 1980 left a very bitter taste

If Ulysses wins the Derby, and he is one of the market leaders for Saturday’s race, the air at Epsom could well carry the scent of long-sought revenge being accomplished.
