Dean Henderson returns to Manchester United as Ramsdale joins Blades

Aaron Ramsdale has returned to former club Sheffield United after joining from Bournemouth on a four-year deal.

The England Under-21 goalkeeper began his career with the Blades having left the club to join Bournemouth in 2017 and Chris Wilder’s side are believed to have spent £18.5m to secure his return. The 22-year-old, who was voted Bournemouth supporters’ player of the year for the 2019-20 campaign, is set to replace Dean Henderson as Sheffield United’s number one after the on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper confirmed he would not be returning to the club.
