Crystal Palace v Bournemouth: match preview

Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace are much improved and off the foot of the table – no mean feat since they are without an away league goal since April – but their precarious predicament means they cannot afford to pass up the chance to build on recent momentum against an inconsistent Bournemouth. The visitors have not lost at Selhurst Park since 1988 but, with Adam Smith suspended, will be wary of the threat posed by Wilfried Zaha with Palace having scored twice in each of their last four home games.
