Cricket – Bayliss upbeat despite defeat

England head coach Trevor Bayliss says his side must take the positives from their 120-run defeat to Australia in Adelaide. The tourists, who are 10/3 with bet365 to win the third Test, had hope going into the final day of the second Test but eventually were all out for 233, having started the day on 176-4. Bayliss has admitted it is another blow but is determined to take the positives from the encounter in Adelaide. He told the BBC: "We've got to take the positives out of it. As I said, there was a number of good things. We’ve just got to do it for longer. "We have got a few scars there with the Australian team. There'll be a few who have missed out and a few who will be nervous. They've got four good bowlers and we’ve shown we can compete with them for a period of time. We've just got to do it for longer."
