Cricket – Bayliss Places up for grabs

Head coach Trevor Bayliss says there are still issues among England's top-order batting to be sorted out following a 3-1 Test series win over South Africa. The hosts wrapped up a series triumph with a 177-run victory over the Proteas at Old Trafford, but Bayliss admitted that the likes of Keaton Jennings, Tom Westley and Dawid Malan still have work to do to secure long-term futures in the side. He told BBC Test Match Special: "It's no secret that we're still looking for guys to put their hands up. "There are spots that haven't been cemented and it's up to guys to prove their worth at this level. We've still got two or three positions we haven't nailed down yet. "These guys know they have things to work on and so are working incredibly hard. Hopefully, it's not before too long we see some big scores from them." England have three Test matches against the West Indies coming up, before they head Down Under to take on Australia, with the Three Lions 12/5 with bet365 to win the Ashes series outright.
