Cooper Cronk a pawn in State of Origin mind games, says Paul Gallen

NSW skipper Paul Gallen has accused Queensland of using halfback Cooper Cronk as a pawn in State of Origin mind games with uncertainty continuing to surround Cronk’s availability for State of Origin I at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday night.

Cronk rolled his ankle at training last week and Maroons coach Kevin Walters has said he must train on Tuesday to prove his fitness. But Gallen dismissed Cronk’s injury concerns as a Maroons charade.
