Clippers visit Miami to play the Heat

November 20, 2014 15:58:09 UK

The Los Angeles Clippers will look to build on their victory over the Orlando Magic when they continue on to Miami to take on the Heat.

Jamal Crawford came off the bench to lead the visitors with 22 points at the Amway Center in Orlando connecting on 8-of-12 from the floor while Blake Griffin, Matt Barnes, Chris Paul, Spencer Hawes and Jordan Farmar were all in double figures.

The 114-90 triumph left the Clippers two games behind the Golden State Warriors in the Pacific Division before LA heads into tonight’s game at the American Airlines Arena.

The Clippers are 1.80 to win the Pacific Division, with the Warriors 2.25 and the Phoenix Suns 13.00.

The Warriors are back in action on Friday when the Utah Jazz arrives at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.

The winners of three straight, Golden State then hits the road through the end of the month with stops in Oklahoma City, Miami, Orlando, Charlotte and Detroit to take on the Thunder, Heat, Magic, Hornets and Pistons respectively.

Over in the Eastern Conference the futility of the Philadelphia 76ers continued as they fell 101-90 to the Boston Celtics at the Wells Fargo Center.

Tony Wroten led five Philadelphia players in double figures but to no avail as Brandon Bass and Jared Sullinger helped pace the visitors to the comfortable win.

The Sixers will try again for their first victory of the campaign on Friday when the Phoenix Suns arrive in town.

The visitors have won two of three to start their six-game road swing and will continue on to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday to play the Pacers.
