British Rowing is to hold an internal review into bullying claims made by former Great Britain team member Emily Taylor.

Taylor, who was dropped from the women’s eight shortly before the London 2012 Olympics, accused the women’s coach Paul Thompson of operating a “culture of fear”. In an interview with online magazine The Mixed Zone, Taylor said: “Thommo was a massive bully and no-one stood up to him. Everyone was scared of him.” She added: “He would regularly call the girls fat.”
