Polish goalkeeper Artur Boruc has extended his loan stay with Bournemouth until the end of the season and is excited about the coming months at the club.

The Cherries top the Championship table heading into the New Year and Boruc has played his part in the success since his switch from Southampton, having yet to feature on the losing side in the league.

I can see that everyone at this club believes in the things they’re doing.

And the former Celtic and Fiorentina ace sees no reason why Bournemouth shouldn’t retain their position among the sides hoping to play in the Premier League next season.

He told the club’s official website: “I can see that everyone at this club believes in the things they’re doing. If you believe and you work your socks off to make your dreams come true, it can happen.

“I can see it in this team and everybody in the club is heading in the same direction.

“I’m pleased I’m here and that I’m part of a great team – I can say that – and that’s why I’m staying until the end of the season.”

Bournemouth can be backed at 1.57 to be promoted this season, while they are 3.00 to win the Championship title.

Meanwhile, the Cherries are reported to have had a bid for teenage forward Demarai Gray rejected by Championship rivals Birmingham City.
