Belgium knock Japan out of World Cup with late goal in 3-2 last-16 win

Belgium scored a stunning late goal to secure progress to the World Cup quarter-finals with a 3-2 victory in their last-16 tie against Japan.

In four extraordinary minutes Japan rocked the Rostov Arena with goals to Genki Haraguchi and Takashi Inui just after half-time. Belgium came back through Jan Vertonghen in the 69th minute and Marouane Fellaini five minutes later. Nacer Chadli then secured victory late on.
